The Africa Go Green Fund (AGGF) announced on February 17, 2023 that its second round of funding raised $47 million in combined investments from the largest financial organizations, including the Société financière internationale ( SFI), the Banque africaine de développement ( BAD ), the Nordic Development Fund (NDF), the Sustainable Energy Fund for Africa ( WILL BE).

The second round of funding, worth 47 million dollars, will allow AGGF to expand its financing for climate-friendly projects in Africa, such as the modernization of existing buildings and the construction of new green buildings, the purchase of electrical appliances swimmers and high-efficiency industrial equipment, the installation of solar panels on roofs and storage batteries for residential, commercial, and industrial consumers.
