On Monday, February 20, 2023, the National Agency for Combating Corruption and Promoting Good Governance (ANLC-PBG) installed the Regional Director of the Faranah branch. It was with the intention of fighting corruption in Guinea.

The ceremony for the installation of the new Regional Director of the Faranah branch saw a strong mobilization of civil society organizations, representatives of the defense and security forces as well as the regional, prefectural and communal frameworks and the National Agency for Combating Corruption and Promoting Good Governance.

An awareness-raising campaign on combating the phenomenon of corruption was carried out in the administrative structures of Faranah by the officials of the said agency after the installation of the regional director of the ANL branch . After committing to respect all the recommendations of the charter with regard to governance, the new incoming Regional Director of the ANLC-PBG in Faranah, Mohamed Yopa Georges, extends his hand and invites everyone to achieve the agency's objectives.
