The Bank and financial institution personnel in Benin are now receiving a 6% salary increase. The Secretary General of Festrabank, Eraste Agossou, announced that “the negotiations show an increase of 6% in the current value of the index point (687.95); i.e. 729.23 whose effective date is 1 April 2023.” In fact, in December 2022, the Board of Directors of Festrabank sent a plea to the Professional Association of Banks and Financial Institutions of Benin (Apbef) with the aim of obtaining an increase in the salary index point for the staff of banks

The office urges all workers in banks and financial institutions in Benin to redouble their work with a view to improving the performance of each bank.
