Agility's 14th Emerging Markets Logistics Index ranks emerging countries based on the factors that make them attractive to providers in the transport and logistics chain. This time, Kenya, Ghana, and Tanzania improved their position compared to 2022.

Several countries in Africa improved their economic performance in an annual ranking. This ranking compares the commercial conditions, national and international logistics and digital preparation of the 50 main emerging markets in the world. Indeed, these countries found themselves in a considerable position compared to that of 2022.

South Africa is the sub-Saharan economy in 24th place, Kenya (25) Ghana (29), Tanzania (37), Uganda (43), Ethiopia (45), Mozambique (46), and Angola (48). In sub-Saharan Africa, Nigeria scored the best domestic logistics, ranking 11th out of 50 countries, while South Africa's international logistics network remains the most efficient on the continent. In North Africa, there are Morocco (202), Tunisia (32), Algeria (41), and Libya (50).
