Un colloque scientifique a été organisé le vendredi portant sur la présentation et la discussion du dernier rapport du International Monetary Fund on inclusive growth, particularly in the area of financial inclusion and the financial strategy adopted by the Central Bank of Mauritania (BCM). Mauritania had made significant progress in the area of financial inclusion, the first of which is “provident funds, the main tributaries of new payment technologies, infrastructures and the legal framework” according to the governor of the BCM, Mohamed Lemine Ould Dhehbi.
He reviewed the bank's financial strategy for the period 2023-2026 and its approved programs to improve performance and adjust financial rules, as well as the progress it has made in this area. According to the vice-president of the Modern University of Nouakchott, Mohamed Fadel Ould Ayda, the theme of this symposium overlaps with the role played by the university in scientific aspects, which constitutes essential and important support for the various programs.
