Un communiqué de la African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) signed on Wednesday 22 February 2023 mentioned that on the sidelines of the ^2nd Dakar Finance Summit, the institution signed a financing agreement. Thus, it will finance the development, design, construction and operation of the power plant and pipeline. To this end, Afreximbank is committed to financing the construction of a 250 megawatt combined cycle gas turbine power plant worth 430 million euros and gas pipeline in Saint Louis, a city located on the north-west coast of Senegal.
