As part of the implementation of the 145 Territories Development Programme (PDL-145T), an agreement was signed between UNDP and two construction companies to build infrastructure in the provinces of South Kivu and Kasai.

In a UNDP press release, it is noted that “within the framework of the Local Development Program for 145 Territories, two companies have signed a contract to carry out infrastructure construction work in 2 provinces, including South Kivu, for the construction of 36 infrastructures in 8 territories and Kasai for 19 infrastructures in 5 territories”.

During the signing ceremony, Minister of State Crispin Mbadu, who presided over the ceremony, announced that the procurement process was a bit long because it was necessary to ensure that companies that are selected, meet the minimum requirements for both technical and financial quality. The Minister of State did not fail to invite the companies receiving the contract to take all their seriousness.

For his part, the UNDP Resident Representative, Dominic Sam, recalled the importance of the PDL-145T for UNDP. For him, “this program means a lot because it contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in order to leave no one behind.”
