On Sunday, April 16, 2023, a ceremony was held to sign a cooperation agreement between Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) and the Egyptian General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (FATI). This agreement aims to develop a mechanism to establish regional offices in Egypt and promote investment, including by amending existing laws or enacting new regulations, in addition to participating in the implementation of Egypt's digital transformation strategy.

Dans l' intention de promouvoir et d' améliorer l' environnement des investisseurs et des affaires, le document stipule la mise en place of an “effective and adequate” regulatory framework to promote joint investments, as GAFI will provide to AGIP “key” investment opportunities available in Egypt to achieve a “comprehensive” partnership between the two parties. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, president and founder of the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Ghazaleh), based in Amman, announced at the signing ceremony that a head office for the company will be established in the new administrative capital of Egypt (NAC), in preparation for providing its services to companies operating in this national project.
