On Tuesday, February 21, 2023, Prime Minister Patrick Achi and Bruno Le Maire the French Minister for Economy , Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty held a fruitful meeting in Paris.

Exchanges between the head of the Ivorian government and the minister of Economy , finance and the industrial and digital sovereignty of France were based on economic issues and on the projects of President Alassane Ouattara. At the outset, the French money maker wanted to express his country's determination to unreservedly support Côte d'Ivoire in its ambitious programs.

For Bruno Le Maire, “this is an opportunity after my visit to Côte d'Ivoire a few weeks ago, to recall the importance of economic cooperation between our two countries; the importance of cooperation on fiscal issues, and our determination to provide immediate, total and effective assistance to Côte d'Ivoire in its major projects.” For his part, the French minister expressed his country's desire to contribute to speeding up these projects, but also to “nurture new cooperation projects”, particularly in the processing and agri-food sectors.
