Le Center for Government Information and Communication (CICG) announced that the financial institution specialized in economic development and the fight against poverty, which announces its Arriving on Ivorian soil will invest 100 billion FCFA in 2023 for the benefit of Ivorian companies in 2023

The CICG announced the news on the financing of Ivorian businesses during a business lunch, on the theme “FSA, APEF-CI, CGECI: a natural partnership to cover the financing needs of Ivorian businesses” which took place on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 ; Abidjan-Plateau. On the occasion of lunch, the representative of the General Confederation of Enterprises of Côte d'Ivoire (CGECI), Sanga Koné and the president of the Professional Association of Banks and Financial Institutions of Côte d'Ivoire, APBEF-CI, Jérôme Ehui, all welcomed the arrival of

this institution in Côte d'Ivoire.

Ahmed Cissé, the representative of the President of the CGECI considered that “the financing needs issued by SMEs/SMIs, which are estimated at 25%, are not covered”.

He thus supported his objective of investing at least 100 billion FCFA by 31 December 2023 for the benefit of large, SMEs and Small and Mediumsized Industries (SMIs). According to him, this investment could ultimately generate between 200 and 300 billion FCFA
