Le député-Maire by Adjamé Soumahoro FarikouChairman , of the Board of Directors (PCA) of the National Federation of Trade Actors of Côte d'Ivoire ( FENACCI ) announced during a press conference at Caistab in the commune of Plateau on Friday, February 17, 2023 that by March 15, Traders and Craftsmen in Côte d'Ivoire will set up a mutual insurance fund, under the leadership of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and promotion of SMEs.

Social coverage for specific risks in the commercial and craft sector remained their responsibility. Indeed, according to the Deputy Mayor of Adjamé Soumahoro Farikou PCA from the FENACCI , like the Mutual Insurance Company of Taxis Counters in Abidjan, the Mutual Insurance Company “will provide structural solutions sustainable to the precarious situation that affects their social and economic well-being and will be an effective strategy to get many traders and artisans out of the informality that characterizes the exercise of their activities.”

Il reassured the Government of the support and full availability of Professional Organizations in the Commerce sectors and Handicrafts, in the dynamics of the implementation of the Social and Economic Development Policy of Côte d'Ivoire.
