Dans le cadre de la mise en œuvre du programme d' appui à la généralisation de la couverture sociale pour une meilleure employabilité (PAGCS), Phase II, le Board of Directors of the African Bank Group Development Agency (BAD) has approved funding of 149 million euros (M€)

Dans un communiqué, la Bad a indiqué que le PAGCS Phase II, is part of the consolidation of the foundations of the social state initiated by Morocco. It aims to facilitate the transition from the informal sector to the formal economy and promote the creation of sustainable jobs, adds the same source. Likewise, the program will benefit self-employed workers, self-employed persons, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, start-ups and cooperative structures throughout the country

According to the financial institution, this program has two components. This is a first that focuses on extending social protection and promoting sustainable jobs, then a second that revolves around support to achieve universal health coverage, reports MAP.
