On the side of private non-financial companies, bank loans increased by 3% over one year. This growth is mainly driven by the significant increase in equipment loans, in increase of 13.9%, a sign of renewed productive investment. Loans to real estate development have also contributed to this development, with a increase of 5.6%.
On the other hand, cash facilities fell by 4.1 %, indicating a decrease in short-term financing needs or a tightening of grant conditions in this segment.
For households, loans increased by 3.6% on a year-on-year basis. This trend can be explained in particular by the increase of 3.3 % of home loans and 5% of consumer loans, confirming a moderate recovery in domestic demand.
Overall, these figures reflect a controlled expansion of bank credit in 2025, supported by investment and household demand, in a context of system consolidation Moroccan financier.
