The Economic Offences and Terrorism Court has handed down the verdict against French Arnold Cadet accused of Internet fraud. He was sentenced to 7 years in prison and 50 million fines.

Indeed, the French Arnold Cadet succeeded in convincing three entrepreneurs to obtain a contract for the installation of 50,000 air conditioners in social housing under construction in Benin.

He would have received 65,000 euros as an entry fee even though the market never existed. He was thus the subject of several complaints and arrested during his visit to Cotonou with his hosts for the fake air conditioner market. At the hearing on Monday, he admitted the charges against him.
