Since 2021, there has been a hijacking conflict between Ali Farez, Fawaz and Ali Jichi, who jointly manage the Electromatic-Guiné company. This case brings them before the Court for the Suppression of Economic and Financial Crimes (CRIEF) where they held a hearing on the evening of Monday 13 February 2023.

Entrepreneurs Ali Farez and Fawaz accuse Ali Jichi of embezzling 20 billion GNF, 400 thousand USD and 450 thousand euros. During a hearing on Monday evening, Ali Jichi's defense lawyers said that this case is already pending at the level of the Commercial Court in Conakry. For them, this jurisdiction even appointed an expert to assess the financial health of the company. The defense thus requested a stay from CRIEF pending the expert's final report, since it was only the interim report that was communicated to the various parties.

The judge thus put the decision on the request of Ali Jichi's lawyers under consideration and postponed the case to Monday, February 20, 2023.
