A la suite de son partenariat avec GTP through services based on the use of prepaid cards and that with Fintech SENFAY on the digitalization of processes of managing retailers' businesses on a daily basis, GIM-UEMOA has signed a new agreement with EMONEY-Solutions.

L'objectif de la signature du nouvel accord de eMoney-Solutions is to develop GIMpay . The development of the GimPay ecosystem will facilitate and catalyze an augmented customer experience (offering new use cases that fill gaps in the completeness of the customer experience expected by consumers). It will also make it possible to massify the transactions issued via a unification of the methods and means of payment available.

GimPay will be in two versions, the first, GimPay Consumer, and the second, GimPay Pro for merchants. According to the Director General of GIM-UEMOA, Minayegnan Coulibaly, this partnership with Fintech EMoney-Solutions is “an illustration of our vision: to facilitate, catalyze and federate the UEMOA open payment ecosystem.” It will mainly allow UEMOA populations to transfer funds from person to person, using various means (cash, wallet, accounts, etc.) and channels (physical counters, mobile phones, web portals, etc.), offered by the institutions that are members of the GimPay platform.
