The Ivorian section of the West African Chemical Society (SOACHIM-CI) organized a round table at the end of which the various parties signed a framework partnership agreement. It was Thursday, February 16, 2023 in Abidjan.

Based on the theme: “SOACHIM-CI experts and chemical companies: together for a concerted dynamic”, the round table that led to a partnership brought together researchers and teacher-researchers from training institutions and research in related chemical fields and sciences (agricultural sciences, biosciences, environment) and chemical companies. Indeed, they, in collaboration with SOACHIM-CI, “express their intention to combine their efforts with a view to developing sectors of common interest and to boost their respective activities.”

It should be noted that the convention covers the fields of training, capacity building, research and development, exchanges of professional experiences and resources, in particular in the fields of optimization science, data and digitalization, the exchange of experts, the conduct of research for the benefit of companies. They have also undertaken to exchange publications, to jointly publish scientific results, or to mutually organize symposiums, seminars and other scientific meetings.
