Dans l' intention de faire avancer les activités du Kribi deep-water port through the development of an industrial zone within the boundaries of the said industrial complex Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) and a consortium of investors made up of Bolloré Africa Logistic (BAL), China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC), Tanger Med Special Agency (TMSA) and International Contenair Terminal Services (ICTSI) signed a memorandum of understanding on 15 February 2023. The investment, estimated at 550 billion FCFA (about 900 million dollars) and covering an area of 1500 hectares, consists mainly of the development of platforms and other works.
