La Central Bank of West African States ( BCEAO ) brings to the attention of researchers and academics from UEMOA through a press release that at the end of the deliberation process of Jury , the Prize Abdoulaye Fadiga for the promotion of economic research was not awarded for the 2022 edition.

La BCEAO decided to Encourage the author of the best article according to the ranking of Jury . He received a research grant in the form of a paid stay of one (1) year at the Headquarters of the BCEAO , in order to improve and deepen his research work.

En réalité, le Prix Abdoulaye Fadiga is launched to promote economic research. It is an axis of the research policy of BCEAO which aims, through a framework of close collaboration with researchers and the academic world, to contribute to the development of research activities within the West African Economic and Monetary Union ( UEMOA ).
