A transaction by the BAD marks the first bond issue of 2023. The African Development Bank thus finances development projects in Africa, mainly in the health, education, agriculture and infrastructure sectors. According to the bank, the financing transaction was successful as it attracted an order book of more than 3.5 billion USD from 95 investors, including central banks and internationally renowned institutions.
