An economic forum was initiated by the managing director of the National Agency for the Promotion of Investments and Major Works (APIX). This forum will welcome several partners from different backgrounds.

The economic forum organized by APIX aims to multiply investment opportunities in Senegal. In reality, the country wants to be open to all business and to promote its cultural heritage, rich in its diversity and the determination of its people to magnify “living together”.

The main objective of the forum is to consolidate the country's brand image as a land of investment with high economic and social impact. Indeed, Abdoulaye Baldé believes that “this meeting will further increase the level of attractiveness of the Senegal destination by increasing tourism demand linked to conferences. In the long term, it will also be necessary to include the “Invest in Senegal” Forum in the international agenda of events dedicated to the development of local and regional markets with a view to integrating and promoting investment and trade opportunities.”
