kaolack will host a regional investor forum on Saturday, February 11. This would be an opportunity to identify investors and donors interested in the opportunities in this region, and in connection with the promotion of the local economy.

The major economic meeting called “Kaolack Invest” will be held this year on the FIKA theme “food sovereignty and the global economic context: the urgent need for local resilience”. This theme will make it possible to arouse the interest of the State, investors, donors, but also development partners and local authorities.

The Town Hall of Kaolack is in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce, the County Council and the Kaolack Chamber of Crafts in this initiative, which is part of the 7th edition of the Kaolack International Fair (FIKA). Through this initiative, the consular chambers and local authorities of Kaolack wish to “stimulate a new economic dynamic in the region” by drawing on the provisions offered by the Regional Consular Chamber of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (CCR-UEMOA) and the economic opportunities of Kaolack.
