On Monday, March 13, 2023, a seminar to strengthen the integration between debt and cash management opened in Lomé. The 5-day meeting is organized by the Regional Technical Assistance Center

The seminar on strengthening integration, debt and cash management aims to raise awareness, present and provide practical training to participants from all member countries of the West African Economic and Monetary Union ( UEMOA), Guinea and Mauritania. This meeting is initiated with the aim of strengthening their knowledge on the importance of integrating debt and cash management and the actions that can be implemented to improve this integration.

Its vision is to enable countries to manage their debt and cash flow in an integrated, optimal, effective and efficient manner. According to the chief of staff of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Akou Mawussé Afidenyigba, Togo has carried out a series of reforms to facilitate the integration of debt management with cash management.
