With the aim of encouraging the establishment of French SMEs, particularly agricultural and agro-food companies, in special economic zones (SEZs) across Africa, the French Public Investment Bank (BPI) and Arise Integrated Industrial Plateforms (ARISE IIP) signed an agreement. This partnership will promote the mobilization of French and African SMEs in SEZs in Africa and will also facilitate bilateral financing programs. It will also make it possible to study the possibility of joint investments. Noted that ARISE IIP has now developed SEZs in nine African countries, including for West Africa, the GDIZ in Benin, the ZIC in Côte d'Ivoire and the PIA in Togo.
