The Minister of Microfinance Victorine Anquediche Ndeye went to Cayar after having taken Thies precisely Resopp and Mont Rolland. It was with the intention of inaugurating the savings and credit mutual fund for fishing actors in Cayar.

She magnified the business model of Resopp, a structure that has more than 40,000 members who are active in the real economy through cooperatives. Victorine also visited the transformation units in the town of Mont-Rolland, whose economic model she wants to replicate. She was accompanied by a strong delegation and her team. The Minister of Microfinance congratulated actors in the economic sector on the major innovations that are being made through the principle of the mutuality of actors who agree to work together to support each other in order to carry out their activities.

For her, “actors need to be strengthened in their activities, in financial education through a new approach.” According to him, it will be necessary to integrate the social protection dimension of actors involved in financial insurance and health insurance in order to reduce risks. To this end, it invites solidarity economy and microfinance actors to work more in synergy in order to have more convincing results.
