The Prime Minister of Guinea Bernard Gomou has inaugurated the Coyah-Sierra Leone border road, built with the support of the African Development Bank and the European Union.

Built with the support of the African Development Bank and the European Union, the Coyah-Sierra Leone border road was inaugurated on 17 June 2023, by the Guinean Prime Minister Bernard Gomou, in the presence of a delegation from the African Development Bank country office, led by its manager, Léandre Bassolé.

The infrastructure developed as part of the Coyah-Farmoreah-Sierra Leone Border Road Reconstruction Project concerns the Coyah-Farmoréah-Sierra Leone border road, which has been completely rebuilt over 75 kilometers. In addition, there are three bridges built over a cumulative line of 195 meters. Sanitation structures (block, gutters and ditches) have also been built along the road as well as its other outbuildings to allow it to function
