Mohamed El Azizi announced that the signing of an agreement between the African Development Bank and the BCI is an important step in supporting the financial inclusion and growth of women-led SMEs, which play a crucial role in Mauritania's economic development. With a credit of 10 million euros, this agreement is intended to support the growth and trade of SMEs in strategic sectors, particularly for women entrepreneurs in the subregion

For her part, Isselmou Tajidine believes that “this project will allow the BCI to position itself as the bank of choice for women entrepreneurs in Mauritania, Senegal, Mali and Guinea. It will contribute to developing our offer of financial products and technical support for businesses run by women.”
