The Finance and Budgetary Control Committee, extended to the Standing Committees of the National Assembly, has been working since 3 November on the 2021 Finance Law.

The National Assembly, according to its Communication Directorate, "has started its work on the process leading to the vote on the 2021 Finance Law, in an unprecedented context, marked by the Covid-19 pandemic and its economic and social consequences > <".  
A statement sent to the APS stresses that "the introduction of an important reform, through the programme budget, since 2020, implies a new streamlined procedure, which takes into account performance requirements > <".  
The Committee on Finance and Budgetary Control, extended to the Standing Committees, began its work, since Tuesday, November 3, 2020, with the examination of the economic and financial report presented by the Minister of Finance and Budget, and the Minister of the Economy, of the Plan and Cooperation, says the same source.
 
It indicates that at this stage "the budget of the institutions of the Republic and the ministries is examined and discussed, in depth, by the deputies, in the presence of the Minister of Finance and Budget and the Minister of the sector concerned, accompanied by his main collaborators''.

 
Thus, the Budgets of the eight Institutions of the Republic and the following Ministerial Departments have already been examined and adopted successively
 
These are the Ministry of Local Authorities, Development and Spatial Planning, the Ministry of the Environment and Sustainable Development, the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, of the Ministry of Microfinance and Social and Solidarity Economy.

Also passed were the Ministries of Health and Social Action, Sports, National Education, Culture and Communication and the Ministry of Tourism and Air Transport.
 
According to the press release, "once the last draft budget is adopted, in the Committee on Finance and Extended Budgetary Control, the Plenary Sessions, of which there are more than thirty, will hear the reports of the work thus accomplished, reports presented by the Deputy Rapporteur General of the said Commission''.

He adds that "Plenary Sessions will be devoted to the discussion and adoption of each draft Budget".
 
After which, the entire draft Finance Law will be submitted to the vote of the deputies, according to the text.

The same source recalls that "it is in this spirit of the harmonious relationship and in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic, that the Executive and the Legislative, each in the field that concerns him, and according to his prerogatives, manages the process of examination and adoption, for each calendar year of the National State Budget''.
