On March 14, 2023, the Federal Government of Nigeria launched an initiative that aims to promote entrepreneurship and innovation in digital technologies and creative industries. The launch of the Digital and Creative Business Investment Program (I-DICE) took place at the State House in the presence of the Vice President of Nigeria, HE Prof Yemi Osinbajo.

The Digital and Creative Business Investment Program (I-DICE) is part of efforts to create jobs for young Nigerians and support the development of these fast-growing industries. It has funding of $618 million and is co-financed by Banque africaine de développement (BAD) , AFD, la Banque islamique de développement (BIsD) and the Bank Industry (BOI) . They invested r respectively 170 million dollars, 100 million euros (equivalent to 116 million dollars), 70 million dollars and 45 million dollars in funding.

The rest should come from the private sector and institutional investors and will make it possible to train, mentor, and finance young entrepreneurs and innovators in the field of technologies numériques and creative industries.
