April 2, 2021, April 2, 2023, two years ago, Mohamed Bazoum was appointed President of the Republic of Niger. Since coming to power, the country has been marked by important diplomatic events with a view to strengthening Niger's cooperation with the international community.

92 Agreements/Conventions are registered in total over the two years of service. Among these agreements, 41 are devoted to the economy for an amount of more than 2.6 trillion CFA francs, 8 concerning the environment and 1 on security, according to a report on government performance. Thanks to the leadership of the President of Niger, the country has been awarded a distinction by the United Nations (UN) on climate mobility and the Sub-Regional Representation of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) on Humanitarian Action established as a Regional Commission for the Sahel and the Lake Chad Basin.

Also, 140 meetings were recorded over the two consecutive years, particularly in the context of economic, security and environmental diplomacy. Niger also organized the double summit of the African Union on Industrialization and Economic Diversification as well as on the African Economic Free Trade Area (AfCFA). Then 11 bilateral and multilateral Joint Committees were held within the framework of development cooperation.
