Lors de la cérémonie solennelle organisée le 28 février 2023 dans les locaux de la Confédération Générale des Entreprises de Côte d' Ivoire (CGECI), the Minister for the Promotion of Good Governance and the Fight against Corruption Epiphane Zoro Ballo set out his vision for this fight.

Epiphane Zoro Ballo announced that “Côte d'Ivoire is becoming a country where integrity is the norm and corruption is structurally reduced.” For him, the Ivorian economy lost around 1.4 trillion in 2022 due to corruption. According to the Minister for the Promotion of Good Governance and the Fight against Corruption Epiphane Zorro Ballo, “the impact of corruption at the global level is approximately 5% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP). In Ivory Coast, this equates to around 1.4 trillion in losses for the economy.” From 2012 to the present, the government has made significant progress that has taken the country from 130th place to 99th.
