During their second meeting held in Abidjan on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, the members of the Bureau of the 11th session of the Parties of the International Academy against Corruption (IACA) reiterated their availability to support the Ivorian government in the fight against corruption.

Côte d'Ivoire is the first African country to host a meeting of this institution, which was relocated for the first time from its headquarters in Vienna, Austria.

Several topics were on the agenda of this meeting of the members of the Bureau of the 11th session of the Parties of IACA, including issues related to the funding of the Academy and the challenges as well as the place of the Academy alongside other international institutions engaged in the fight against corruption.

With 76 UN member states and four international organizations to its credit, IACA is an essential anti-corruption mechanism whose mission is to fight corruption and study current shortcomings in the field.
