The Managem group announced in a press release published on 26 April 2023 that it had completed the acquisition of mining assets in Senegal. This acquisition was finalized with the Canadian actor IAMGOLD for 197 million dollars

Dans le cadre d' un “Option Agreement” avec Oriole-EMC, des actifs suivant ont été acquis. 90% de la mine d ' or en construction de Boto (les 10% restants étant détenus par le gouvernement du Sénégal), 100% des actifs d ' exploration of Boto West, Senala West, Daorala and an interest in the exploration license from Senala. Indeed, the acquisition of these assets was made for an overall consideration of 197 million US dollars, of which approximately 30 million will be paid later.
