Two financing agreements were signed on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 between the State of Senegal and the African Development Bank (AfDB). This was within the framework of financing phase 1 of the National Integrated Livestock Development Program in Senegal and the project to build the Dakar-Tivaouane-Saint Louis highway.

The Ministry of Economy, Planning and Cooperation announced on its Twitter account that “the African Development Bank group and the Government of Senegal have just signed the financing agreements for the National Integrated Development Program for R&D. rsquo; livestock farming in Senegal phase 1 and the Dakar-Tivaouane-Saint-Louis Highway Construction Project”. According to him, “the Highway Construction Project aims to strengthen territorial connectivity, road safety and the living conditions of the population, by stimulating tourism & oil and gas resources.”

A en croire le ministère, “la coopération entre la BAD and Senegal goes back more than 50 years with a remarkable contribution to the financing of operations included in the Priority Action Plan (#PAP2A) of the Emerging Senegal Plan and the structuring projects of the Government of Senegal”.
