The information comes from a note from the Ministerial Department announcing that this signature is part of the Multi-Annual Indicative Programme (PIM)
2021-2027.The signature between Côte d'Ivoire and the European Union covers three programs. These include the areas of green energy, support for sustainability with the private sector and the strengthening of civil society organizations for a cumulative amount estimated at more than 24 billion CFA francs. The first agreement aims to support the efforts of the Ministry of Mines, Petroleum and Energy to promote renewable energies and energy efficiency in Côte d'Ivoire with the support of European cooperation agencies and will benefit from 13.5 billion
FCFA.The second aims to support the development of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and improve the employability of young people in the digital sector. It is financed to the tune of 8.3 billion FCFA, in partnership with organized private sector actors. Then the last convention is a support to associations in Côte d'Ivoire (AMA-CI) to continue strengthening the capacities of civil society organizations (CSOs), financed to the tune of 2.6 billion FCFA
