Le vendredi 3 mars dernier, a eu lieu une cérémonie de signature d' accord entre les autorités tunisiennes et The Société International Islamic Trade Finance (ITFC). This agreement concerns financing guarantees, for a total amount of around 270 million euros.

The financing of between Tunisia and ITFC is based on three guarantees relating to energy projects (electricity, oil refining and chemical industries) and pétrolière ) .According to the Tunisian Ministry of Economy and Planning, the agreement was signed between the Minister of Economy and Planning, Samir Said, and the CEO of ITFC, a member of the Islamic Development Bank Group, engineer Hani Salem Sonbol.

The amount of the first financing guarantee amounts to 120 million euros. It will be used to contribute to financing the import of natural gas for the benefit of STEG. The second, estimated at 100 million dollars, should be injected into financing the import of crude oil and petroleum products for the benefit Société of Tunisia's refining industries. The third and last is worth 50 million dollars and will be used to finance the import of raw materials for the benefit of the Tunisian Chemical Complex.
