La Société internationale de transport africain par rail (SITARAIL), a subsidiary of AGL (Africa Global Logistics), participated in the organized videoconference on 30 March 2023 through the representation of the World Bank in Burkina Faso, at the institution's premises in Ouagadougou. This conference focused on the theme “Adopting Equity”. Sétou Drabo, after sharing his experience, was praised by

the World Bank.

Un panel a eu lieu dans le cadre de la commémoration en différé de la International Women's Rights Day. It allowed the first woman train driver in Burkina Faso, Sétou Drabo, to share her experience as a railroader at SITARAIL , her passion for this profession, as well as her vision of equity in a professional environment, generally considered to be reserved for men.

Elle places particular emphasis on the feminization of all its professions, thus allowing more than thirty women to access managerial positions in various technical fields.

Maïmouna Mbow Fam, World Bank Resident Representative in Burkina Faso welcomes Sétou Drabo's career in these words: “It is proof that, if the conditions are right, women can excel in high-tech jobs, thrive there and have a positive impact on society as a whole.”
