The Bolloré group accepts CMA CGM's offer to buy Bolloré Logistics. It was on April 18 that the CMA CGM group, whose CEO is Rodolphe SAADE, announced that it had entered into exclusive discussions with the Bolloré group “for the acquisition of the transport and logistics commission activities grouped together in Bolloré Logistics” (see EC of 19/04/2023).

Bolloré announced that CMA CGM should finalize its promise to purchase “around May 8.” On May 8, the Bolloré group announced late in the afternoon that it had received from CMA CGM “a promise to purchase 100% of Bolloré Logistics based on an enterprise value of 5 billion euros.” According to a press release, “the Bolloré Group accepted this promise as an offer. The procedures for informing and consulting the employee representative bodies responsible for this project within the Bolloré Group will now be initiated. A decision on the exercise of this promise will take place at the end of these procedures.”
