As part of the scientific day of the 18th edition of the Daoukro International Festival of Culture and Arts (FICAD) from Thursday 30 to Friday 31 March 2023, a panel was initiated allowing participants to learn about identifying the natural tourist assets of the regions, the & • preparation of a management plan for capitalization.

Sociocultural agents in town halls and heads of human promotion departments in the regions have strengthened their capacities in seeking funding to better manage cultural projects in communities. Indeed, the commissioner-general of FICAD, Akoto Kouassi Olivier, noted the flourishing of cultural festivals in Côte d'Ivoire. This seminar, whose main theme was “Financing culture, promotion and enhancement of cultural heritage and local development”, made it possible to develop three sub-themes.

Participants discussed “regional tourism, leisure and hotel sites, how to capitalize on the local economy”, “Financing culture, promoting cultural and tourist heritage for sustainable development” and finally “Integrating Mat& Heritage” Essential and intangible, the habits and customs in the modern management of African cities: dance, music, arts and architecture”.
