Benin and Rwanda have strengthened their cooperation by signing new agreements on the occasion of President Paul Kagame's state visit to Cotonou.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Aurélien Agbénonci, gave an update on the working session between the delegations of Benin and Rwanda that took place on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the Palais de la Marina as part of President Paul Kagamé's state visit to Cotonou. Indeed, the head of Beninese diplomacy announced that several areas are concerned by the signing of agreements between the two countries

According to the Foreign Minister, “during their meeting, the Heads of State agreed to sign legal instruments between the two countries in the fields of non-taxation, agriculture, digital technology, local governance, rural development, military cooperation, commercial and industrial cooperation, tourism and investment promotion & raquo;.
