The administrators had several exchanges with the highest authorities of Cape Verde. They also met with development partners, representatives of the private sector and Cabo Verdean civil society organizations before visiting several projects and infrastructures financed by the Bank. Noted that the African Development Bank maintains excellent relations with Cabo Verde. The bank is financing several structuring projects, including very recently the modernized port of Maio, inaugurated in September 2022 by Bank Group President Akinwumi Adesina, and the Technology Park, which is scheduled to be inaugurated next April.

To accelerate the diversification of its economy and reduce its vulnerability to exogenous shocks, the bank is uniquely positioned to continue providing long-term financing and advisory services in Cape Verde.
