Sabrina Fodzo, organizer of the Financial Inclusion Fair (SIF) announced that the meeting will include financial sector actors and the public will take place on February 28, 2023 at Caistab in Plateau. This show is intended to be the crossroads for exchanges where these actors meet.

The first Financial Inclusion Fair (SIF) is scheduled for February 28 in Abidjan-Plateau. It would be an opportunity to provide real financial education to the population. According to the organizer, the vision of SIF is to provide the population in general, and women traders in particular, with genuine financial education and the information necessary to promote their access to financial services. For her, it would also be an opportunity for institutions, businesses and users, especially those operating mainly in the informal sector as well as young people, to meet and discuss ways to contribute together to the modernization of the Ivorian economy through financial inclusion for as many people as possible.

According to him, “we are in a country where the banking rate is very low. However, you need to have a bank account to be able to get a loan to carry out your projects. We organized this event based on certain realities: in fact, we started with workshops and training courses on financial education. It is therefore based on our results in the field that we decided to launch this show.” Nearly 1000 people are expected.
