A sub-regional workshop took place from 16 to 17 May 2023 in Ouagadougou. This meeting focused on the launch of the project to strengthen governance and labour migration in the agriculture and domestic work sectors.

Agridom is the name of the project that is the subject of the sub-regional workshop. It is implemented by the International Labour Organization (ILO), with the financial support of Swiss cooperation. On 16 May, the project was officially launched by the Burkinabe Minister in charge of the civil service Bassolma Bazié. This project is planned to be implemented in three countries. These are Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, and Guinea for the benefit of migrant workers in the agricultural and domestic work sectors.

Agridom received funding of more than one billion FCFA by Swiss cooperation. Its vision is to better protect migrant workers in both sectors.
