A workshop to present the new blockchain technology for data security took place on Friday, May 26, 2023 in Abidjan. This meeting was organized by the Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy in collaboration with Octogon Technology

The workshop to present the new blockchain technology is aimed at raising awareness about this technology among all actors in the ecosystem and presenting them with the challenges and opportunities offered. According to the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy, Oumar Konaté, this new technology, which aims to build trust, security, transparency and traceability of data, makes it possible to make savings through new efficiency. According to him, “blockchain is valuable for both public administrations and the private sector that carry out mutual transactions because it allows them to access the same information simultaneously to improve efficiency, build trust and boost their results.”
