The launch ceremony was held in the presence of the Minister of Communication, Telecommunications, Posts and the Digital Economy, Me Moussa Bocar Thiam, and the Director General of Senegal Numérique SA, Cheikh Bakhoum. According to Cheikh Bakhoum, “a limited company that will now be on the Senegalese market to provide a certain number of products and services for companies in the public sector but also in the private sector.”

For his part, the Minister of Communication mentioned the company's long-term ambition: “the Head of State clearly states his ambition to make Senegal and Senegal Numérique SA a reference in digitalization, particularly through the providing innovative and quality public services.”

Thus, Senegal Numérique SA's mission is to implement the State's computerization policy, manage the State's digital infrastructures and services, as well as provide 10 digital services, and commercialize capacities and resources. available on its infrastructures.
