Sonatrach announced that the signing of the merger-absorption contract of Safir SPA by SAPRI Spa is an important transaction that is part of the “reconfiguration of Sonatrach's national portfolio”. According to a press release from Sonatrach, “on April 6, 2023, at the headquarters of the SONATRACH Services Parapliers (SSPP) Holding, the merger-absorption contract of SAFIR Spa by SARPI Spa was signed, in the presence of the Corporate Affairs Director and the Chief Executive Officers of the Holdings and subsidiaries and executives Directors of the Companies Concerned”.

Sonatrach also assured that this merger-absorption will have no impact on the professional achievements of employees of the absorbed company SAFIR Spa. For this company, this aims to synergize human, financial, material and managerial resources, by combining the activities of the two companies, as well as the rational and optimal use of existing potential, the layout of an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company, by combining the know-how of SAFIR Spa and SARPI Spa, particularly in the field of Engineering.
