At the end of a workshop devoted to the issues of the bakery sector in Côte d'Ivoire, the government decided to release a grant of 2 billion FCFA to support the creation of the guarantee fund dedicated to the bakery and processing sector structure of the wheat-flour-bread sector. The announcement was made by Aimé Koizan, the Director General of Internal Trade, on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, in Yamoussoukro.

“I am pleased, on behalf of Minister Souleymane DIARRASSOUBA, to announce to bakery stakeholders that the government has released a subsidy of 2 billion CFA francs to support the creation of the guarantee fund dedicated to the sector of the bakery industry and the structural transformation of the wheat-flour-bread sector,” said Aimé Koizan, the Director General of Internal Trade. For him, the work of the Yamoussoukro workshop is being closely monitored by the government, which pays particular attention to the recommendations that have been made. He therefore invited each of the structures concerned with these bakery issues, the bakery makers on the front line, to really commit themselves to diligently implementing the recommendations.
