A delegation composed of officials from the National Agency for Statistics and Demography (ANSD) of Senegal and the National Institute of Statistics (INS) of Côte d'Ivoire visited the Office of the High Commissioner for Planning (HCP) from 06 to 10 February 2023. Discussions revolved around the theme of regional accounts.

On the occasion of the study visit, HCP shared experiences and good statistical practices with partner countries. According to a statement from HCP, this meeting is part of the HCP's policy of openness to its African environment. This visit was facilitated by the Regional Technical Assistance Center for Central Africa (AFRITAC) of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Working sessions focused in particular on the methodological practices for compiling regional accounts by branch of economic activity.

It was also an opportunity for the delegation to learn about the dynamics of the regional statistical system through the experience of Casablanca-Settat, and in particular, the deployment of databases (D). regional and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) reporting process.
