The ^11th edition of the economic forum, CGECI-Academy, had its epilogue on Friday, October 27, 2023. The work of this forum has shown “the need to act without delay” for businesses and economies to become more competitive, in an increasingly competitive international environment.

The President of the General Confederation of Enterprises of Côte d'Ivoire (CGECI), Ahmed Cissé said that the work of this forum not only reaffirmed the central role of the private sector as a driver of economic growth in Africa, but demonstrated that states should work to increase competitiveness of the latter, in the face of increasing competition, and the changes that businesses are facing. This edition was organized around the theme: sustainable business growth in Africa: a focus on competitiveness.
