After approving the minutes of the 132nd meeting, held on September 20, 2022 in Cotonou, Benin, the Board of Directors of the West African Development Bank (Boad) met in person for its 133rd ordinary session. It approved the updated financial perspective and the draft programme budget established for the five-year period 2023-2027 of the Bank.

Seven operations were the subject of the work of the Board of Directors. Among others, there are two project proposals financed from the Songtaaba programme for 36 billion FCFA francs, three new project proposals for a total amount of 45 billion FCFA francs and two lines of refinancing worth 28.5 billion FCFA francs.

These new approvals also bring the total of Boad's commitments to 7182.1 billion FCFA since the start of its operational activities in 1976.
